[PlayStation] Plus de 4,2 millions de PS4 vendues dans le monde

Sony a annoncé avoir vendu plus de 4,2 millions de PS4 dans le monde à la fin 2013.

Pour résumer : 
- Plus de 4,2 millions de PS4 vendues aux joueurs au 28 décembre 2013 
- 9,7 millions de jeux vendus, donc une moyenne mathématique de 2.31 jeux par consoles
- 90% d'abonnés supplémentaires au service PS+ 
- 1,7 million de parties diffusées en direct via la fonction "Share" de la PS4 
- Pour un total de 55 millions de minutes diffusées 
- Générant 22 millions de spectateurs

PARIS,JAN. 7, 2014Sony Computer Entertainment Inc. today announced that cumulative sales of the PlayStation®4 (PS4™) computer entertainment systemhave reached 4.2 million*1as of December 28, 2013, demonstrating the explosive growth of the PS4 platform.

PS4 software sales remained strong through the holiday seasonwith more than 9.7million *2 copies sold in retail stores worldwide and through digital downloads on PlayStation®StoreA few of the top selling games includedCall of Duty®: Ghosts from Activision, Assassin’s Creed®IV Black Flag™ from Ubisoft, Battlefield 4™and FIFA 14from Electronic Arts Inc., andKillzone™ Shadow Fall from Sony Computer Entertainment Worldwide Studios (SCE WWS). 

 

Many PS4 owners have quickly taken advantage of the features and benefits of the PlayStation®Plus (PS Plus) membership serviceGlobal PS Plus subscriptions have increased by more than 90% since the PS4 launch*3.  PS Plus members have access to the Instant Game Collection™and can play the full versions of popular titles without a time limit and at no extra cost.  Currentgames include Resogun from Sony Computer Entertainment Worldwide Studio (SCE WWS)and Contrastfrom Compulsion Games*4*5, followed by additional exciting titles in 2014 

 

PS4 gamers are actively sharing their gameplay experience through the PS4 system’s unique sharing capabilities. To date, more than 1.7 million gameplay broadcastshave been streamed from PS4 systems*6via video streaming platforms, Twitch and Ustream, totaling more than 55 million minutes According to Twitch, 20% of their broadcasters are PS4 owners*7. Ustream is also reporting an average of 40minutes of streaming per broadcaster*8All these gameplay broadcast generate nearly22 million*9 spectate sessions.

[PlayStation] Annonce du Red Bull X Challenge avec Sebastian Vettel‏

Polyphony Digital, les développeurs de Gran Turismo 6 disponible depuis le 6 décembre sur PS3, révèlent une nouvelle mise à jour disponible dès aujourd'hui. 
Elle est gratuite et inclut 2 nouvelles voitures Red Bull et le Red Bull X Challenge. 
 
Ce Red Bull X Challenge est le fruit de la collaboration avec l'Infinity Red Bull Racing et propose du coaching de pilotage par Sebastian Vettel, le quadruple champion du monde en titre de F1, excusez du peu !
 
Vous avez été nombreux à vous lancer sur les circuits de Gran Turismo 6 (le jeu sur le PlayStation Store), et vos retours sur le jeu ont motivé l’équipe de développement. Nous vous avions promis du nouveau contenu rapidement, il est temps de tenir parole. Polyphony Digital met en ligne aujourd’hui une mise à jour du jeu contenant deux nouveaux véhicules Red Bull ainsi que le challenge Red Bull X.

En partenariat avec la team Infiniti Red Bull Racing, c’est le champion du monde de Formule 1 Sebastian Vettel en personne qui vous apprendra comment conduire une F1 comme un pro.

Les joueurs de GT6 ont la possibilité de conduire deux des quatre voitures Red Bull. Le ‘kart Red Bull Racing‘ et la ‘Red Bull X2014 Junior‘ seront disponibles avec la mise à jour, tandis que la ‘Red Bull X2014 Standard’ et la voiture ‘Fan’ seront ajoutées dans une future mise à jour. Toutes les voitures Red Bull X2014 ont été conçues pour GT6 en collaboration avec Adrian Newey, le chef technique de la team Infiniti ; avec toujours cette volonté d’offrir l’expérience de conduite la plus réaliste qui soit.

Bonus de connexion en ligne
Quand vous vous connectez en ligne plusieurs jours d’affilée, un bonus sera ajouté à tous vos gains de crédits, jusqu’à 200 % de bonus au cinquième jour. Assurez-vous de vous connecter chaque jour pour gagner plus de crédits.

Événements saisonniers : barrière d’entrée abaissée
Les joueurs n’auront plus besoin que d’un permis National B pour participer aux Événements saisonniers, et pendant une durée limitée, il y aura des événements uniques avec des voitures à gagner.

Événements bonus au sein des Événements saisonniers
Deux nouveaux Événements auront lieu du 20 décembre au 17 janvier, et du 2 au 30 janvier. Ces événements uniques célèbreront les fêtes et le Nouvel An, avec des bonus de crédits spéciaux.

Plus de crédits gagnés en mode Carrière

Enfin, pour tous les joueurs qui ont participé à la GT Academy 2013, cette update vous apporte un petit cadeau : une Nissan GT-R Nismo GT3 N24, la même que celle conduite par Yamauchi-san cette année pour les 24h de Nürburgring.

[PlayStation] Le partage sur PS4 : 800 000 parties diffusées et 7,1 millions de spectateurs‏

Sortie le 15 novembre aux US et le 29 novembre en Europe et en France, la PlayStation 4 a déjà séduit plus de 2.1 millions de joueurs, ça vous le savez.
 
Et ces joueurs ont été gourmands de partage ! En effet, on comptabilise à date 800 000 parties qui ont été diffusées en direct depuis les PS4 des joueurs via la fonction "Share" pour plus de 7,1 millions de spectateurs. 
 
En tout, c'est plus de 20 millions de minutes de jeux qui ont été diffusées en direct.

Ten percent of all content on Twitch has come from PS4 systems since the November

15 launch in the U.S. and Canada and the November 29 launch in Europe, Australasia and Latin America, based on average minutes broadcast.*2 Ustream is reporting an average of 31 minutes of streaming per broadcaster.*3 A few of the top games broadcasted are Battlefield 4™ from Electronic Arts Inc., Killzone™ Shadow Fall from Sony Computer Entertainment Worldwide Studios (SCE WWS), and Call of Duty®: Ghosts from Activision.
